A morning walk is a form of exercise wherein the individual takes a brisk walk for a fixed period or a fixed stretch of distance every morning before their work/ study day starts. It must be more than just a casual stroll to be counted as an exercise form of morning walk.
Weight maintenance is the first benefit that arises of even the most regular form of morning walks where the exercise level may not be high. An intense morning walk, on the other hand can actively help in losing weight for the person as it helps burn calories which in turn tip the calories consumed vis-a-vis calories spent ratio.
Multiple studies have found that it is the workout of the body through a walk that helps brain function more than just a workout of the mind by cognitive activities. A morning walk is thus likely to help enhance and retain the brain functions leading to more productivity overall.
