Very Short Essay on Guru Nanak Dev Ji

Guru Nanak Dev was born in the year 1469. At the age of seven, he joined a village school. He was a firm believer of God from childhood.

He was kindhearted so much that he fed the hungry with the money he was to start a profitable business with. Later, he turned to become a saint.

The teachings of Guru Nanak Dev: He was distressed by the prevailing religious conflicts amongst and he decided to bring peace among people.

He preached that there is only one God, and laid stress on the importance of Guru in our lives.

He denounced all forms of superstitions prevalent in the society and laid stress in true faith.

He formed a new religion. He taught patience and kindness throughout all the places he toured.

Conclusion: Guru Nanak Dev laid supreme stress in the simplicity and purity of life and religious tolerance. He preached all people are children of one God.
