Bishnupur Gharana
The other Sitar gharana in Bengal is a branch of the famous Vishnupur gharana of Dhrupad singers. Shi Gopeshwar Banerji apart from Dhrupad singing was also a Sitar player. The more famous players were Surendranath Banerji Surbahari, Satyakinkar Banerji and Gokul Nag.
