Importance of Ozone Layer

Ozone is a blue colored stinking gas made up of three oxygen molecules which are isotope. The density of Ozone gas in the greatest within 15-30 km of Stratosphere.

The density of Ozone gas is not the same in the air. The presence of the gas is the best in the air which is closed to the earth surface.

The thick layer of Ozone gas in Stratosphere of the air is called the Ozone layer. Ozone layer protects the animals of the earth from the harmful Ultra violet rays like an umbrella. The Ultraviolet rays that comes from the sun affects on the living beings. Ozone layer absorbs the ultra violet rays and prevents to reach on the earth surface. As the result the living being are saved from the effect of the rays.

The amount of Ozone is the greatest in the Stratosphere of air.
