Differences between Weather & Climate
Weather: At any definite place and on a particular day, the conditions of the atmospheric elements (like temperature, pressure and humidity of air, air current, rainfall etc.) combined together, are turned as weather. Weather is a daily affair and it can change every day and even every hour.
Climate: Climate in the generalization of the daily atmospheric condition of a large geographical area for a period of at least 35 years.
Differences: The differences between weather and climate is summarized below:
- Weather is a daily affair of the atmosphere whereas climate is a long-term condition of the atmosphere.
- Weather can change very rapidly at any hour of a day whereas climate is more or less stable and climate of some region does not usually change.
- Generally, weather is concerned with a smaller region whereas climate is applicable to a vast region.
