What are the three colours of Indian National Flag?

On September 15, 2015 By Prakash Category: Important India

Colours of Indian National Flag

The Indian flag has three colors:

  1. saffron at the top,
  2. white in the middle and
  3. green at bottom.

Our tri-coloured National flag reflects in every way the hopes and aspirations enshrined in her constitution. The saffron stands for restraint and sacrifice, the white for piety and purity and the green for courage and vitality.

In the middle of the flag we have the Ashok Chakra with 24 spikes symbolizing the 24 hours of the day.

Our National flag epitomizes our civilization, culture, heritage and freedom. It is a priceless possession of the state that bespeaks its sovereignty.
