Good health refers to the state of not being unwell. When an individual is in good health, he or she is free of any form of bodily pain and therefore needs not take medicine or other health boosting substances.
Good health is important because it brings happiness as there is no bodily pain that would have otherwise be the cause for anguish. It ensures that an individual is able to live longer contrary to how sicknesses can cut short the lives of people.
When in good health, you are able to save money which would have otherwise been used to pay for hospital bills and buy drugs.
Good health also means that one is strong enough to take care of their responsibilities aside from depending on other people for help. Hence, when in good health, you are strong and therefore elements of dependence are eliminated.
Good health also gives you the opportunity to enjoy with friends and family and not spend all time and resources trying to fight diseases in hospitals and drug stores.
The best way to appreciate good health is keeping oneself safe from harm and anything that might make you get unwell.

A healthy body is defined by absence of disease, agility in movements and joyful disposition. Good health is an important factor in success and happiness.
Good health reflects a good quality of life. Focusing one’s attention on all that is of value rather than tending to some illness makes all the difference.
When a person is healthy he can engage in healthy relationships. Otherwise he is always limited by his sickness and the focus of social interactions is also drawn there.
A healthy person radiates confidence. There is a youthful glow and colour on the face irrespective of age that can only come by being fit.

The importance of a healthy mind and body can be known only when we fall ill. It is worth taking care of. Good health is not just about the body but also about the mind. Self-confidence and self-esteem are a part of a healthy person. Happiness is the prevalent emotion despite the usual difficulties and ups and downs of life.
Children need to be taken care of in terms of a good diet and by providing them with age appropriate physical activities and exercise. This will help their growth needs.
A person in a state of good health is independent. When the body starts to fail one needs to depend on help. Keeping up good health can keep you from depending on anyone’s help till a much bigger age.
