It forms the basis of good human interactions as many people would want to associate with orally upright and therefore disciplined people.
Discipline can be used as criteria for employment or admission into a respectable institution or organization.
Discipline is also a measure of good character which is a desirable quality for a person to have.
It makes an individual dependable and reliable as discipline sends the message that one can be trusted to always do the right thing.
Discipline also helps a person to achieve their goals because discipline acts as a guide towards the right path and removes all elements of distractions.
Discipline breeds peace and harmony as there will be complete adherence to the law and therefore no cause for violence amongst people living together.
Discipline opens up opportunities because it makes it easier for people to refer the disciplined person to places of esteem without fearing embarrassment or disappointment.
Disciplined is very instrumental in life, regardless of age. In as much as discipline is best instilled in the life of a person at young age, it is also possible to acquire it when one is older. The willingness to do the right thing and remain conscious of the impression left behind are drivers to discipline.
