The importance of national symbols for various countries all around the world is very high, and it should remain very high because the national symbols of a country, represents the nation in various fields and if you are not respecting your national symbols, it means you are disgracing your nation.
There are people in our country who don’t even know about the national symbols of our country so here is the list of national symbols of India:
National animal: Our national animal is Tiger, and it is the animal which is completely getting extinct. That is why people all around the world are doing their bit to save the tigers. We as responsible humans should spread the word to save the national animal of our country.
National Bird: Like the national animal, national bird is also very less available in the forests. Peacocks are our national birds, and these birds are very rarely available in many areas. If a peacock is found wounded, one should immediately inform about it to the forest department and also one should take it to the hospital
National Emblem: The national emblem of our country is known to get the most respect in our country after our national flag. The national emblem gets placed on the uniform of various high ranked officers as well as various police officers.
National Flag: If a person doesn’t pay respect to its country’s national flag, he shouldn’t be the citizen of that country. The tri-color of our country is one of the most respected flags in the world because the constituents of our flag reflect the heritage, culture, and civilization of our country.
National game: hockey is the national game of the country as Indians are playing hockey better than a lot of countries from the time even before their independence. Though people were not in very much love with hockey before yet, they have shown so much of love for hockey in the past few years.
