Rabindranath Tagore is one of the most famous personalities not only in India but around the world. He is a famous writer, poet, philosopher, and a freedom fighter.
He was born on 7th May 1861 in the house of Debendranath Tagore who was a great social worker as well as a freedom fighter for India.
He has written a lot of novels and poems as well. His writings are still very famous, and that is why a lot of his writings are part of the syllabus of many schools and colleges nowadays.
He traveled to more than 30 countries and five continents in his lifetime and all his visits he showed how amazing skills he has, and every country admired his work very much, and that is why he was the first noble prize, winner for, literature for India.
His work was so good that he had the responsibility of writing the national anthem of India. He is the only writer in the world who has written the national anthems of two countries, e., India and Bangladesh. He was a Bengali, and that is why a lot of his writings were in the Bengali language as well.
Rabindranath Tagore was not only not known as a writer; he was a painter, a philosopher as well as a social worker too. He worked for the betterment of the country for various causes.
In all his writing works the most famous ones are – The Post Office, Chitra, Songs of Kabir, Kabuli Wala, etc. All his work got very much admired, and he was known as one of the best writers of his time.
His best work among all is said to be Gitanjali which was a collection of 156 poems and got published on August 14th,
Rabindranath Tagore worked for a lot of social causes as well as his father, and that is why the duo gets remembered by a lot of people for all the works they did for the country.

Rabindranath Tagore was an Indian polymath, musician, poet, and artist. He belonged to the Indian subcontinent. He was born on 7 May 1861 and died on 7 August 1941.
He was the man behind reshaping Bengali culture and music of India. His poetry was considered as merciful and beautiful. It carried the message of hope for everyone.
Rabindranath Tagore was an Indian Scholar. He was born in the state of West Bengal and did most of his work in the regional language of Bengali. He is considered a revolutionary icon, in the Indian Cultural landscape, particularly in the Bengali culture. He was a genius, gifted with a multi-dimensional and multi-talented personality. He was also a painter, a social reformer, an educationist and a visionary beyond his times.

- Gitanjali was the best piece of poetry by Rabindranath Tagore. It saw him win the Nobel Prize for this in That’s because this book of poetry called Geetanjali [the Offering of Songs] achieved global popularity. He was the first non-European who was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature. Geetanjali is a unique composition, representative of his style, genius, vision, and maturity. The poetry is a delicate expression of love and various human emotions related to romance and love. But the book operates on several levels. At a deeper level, it symbolizes the prayer and worship mode of love for the god element and the truth within each one of us. It is a spiritual masterpiece.

Tagore’s thought about Indian politics were much nationalized. He also played a great role in the Indian movement in the late 1930s. Unfortunately, he did not live to see India as an Independent country. On Swadeshi movement, he wrote a book and imparted some wise words to the nation. His efforts cannot be underestimated. He was a true hero.
Conclusion
Indeed Tagore is a great symbol of Indian values and legacies. One cannot forget his valuable achievements. Many universities were named after him. In India, there are 8 Tagore museums.
