Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat – Essay

 Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat means, A Clean India is a Healthy India.

This is a Social Reformation phrase used by the Indian Government to propagate the value and urgency of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan [Clean India Mission].

Swachh Bharat ‘Swasth Bharat is a campaign run by many governmental and non-governmental organizations to increase sanitation and hygiene by providing a large number of community toilets and household toilets. The slogan states “One Step towards Cleanliness”.

Indian Culture is deeply rooted in the habits of cleanliness, hygiene, and health as the basis of all personal and social life. Personal Hygiene and Cleanliness habits are inculcated into all family, religious and social rituals. Before initiating any important activity like worship, cooking, religious rituals, new home, new business, etc. rituals of cleanliness and hygiene are considered mandatory. Ayurveda, the ancient Indian science of medicine and hygiene, explains in detail the value and practice of cleanliness in daily life for a healthy lifestyle.

INITIATIVES

Brand Ambassador: Actors, actresses, cricketers and former people of different areas were nominated to spread the hygiene program.

Swachh Bharat Run: Organized at Rashtrapati Bhavan and more than a thousand runners participated in it.

Conclusion

Swachh Bharat Swasth Bharat reflects the mindset of Modern India to create a clean and sanitary environment for current and future generations of India. Cleanliness and Hygiene are mandatory for all aspects of health. Health consists of physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual aspects. Health in all its forms can only flourish if cleanliness is maintained at personal, family, social and national levels. Cleanliness is important to control and eradicate infections and diseases. A mental state of happiness and healthy rational thinking also needs an atmosphere of cleanliness and hygiene. Cleanliness is mandatory in all spiritual practice and rituals.
