A best friend is that person who is the closest among all friends. He or she is a well-wisher and feel happy about your success. When you are sad it also makes him or her feel sad. So, relationship with a best friend is a different and an important relation. One should always respect and take care of his best friend. My best friend’s name is John. He is my friend since school time and till date, we are fast friends.
Let me tell you more about John. He belongs to a decent family in New Delhi. My family also lived in New Delhi until my High school. We went to the same primary school, lived in the same neighbourhood. In the evenings we used to play cricket and football together with the other children of the colony. Those were the fun times. I still miss those childhood times.
After school, unfortunately, we separated. We moved to Chennai due to father’s Job and John was left behind. He completed his college and now he is studying Medicine in a Medical College in Vellore. Meanwhile, I joined an Engineering College. We still have reunions and talk on social media.
John is a calm and a decent person. He doesn’t bother anyone. He loves to play cricket and scrabble in our spare time. Collecting Coins from Gandhi’s time is also one of his favourite hobbies. He had many hidden talents and many of them are now revealed on me.
Although John likes many books but one of his favourite books is a mystery novel by Charles Dickens. He loves to read that book again and again. I also have read that book two times.
John wants to become a famous Neurosurgeon. He is always a geek and nerdy sort of kid so this career option suits him well. In this way, he can fulfill his dreams.
I just want to say that good friends are a blessing and always make a one. I love John and chatting and meeting him even after ages make me fresh.
In conclusion, having a best friend like John has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life so far. It’s amazing how someone can be there for you through thick and thin, always ready with a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on when you need it most.
I think it’s important for everyone to have at least one close friend like John in their life – someone who will be there for you no matter what happens, who will support you through all your ups and downs, and who will always be there to make you laugh when you need it most.
So if you’re lucky enough to have a best friend like John, make sure you cherish them – because they’re truly one in a million!
