Introduction:
Everyone has his or her favourite dish.it is also affected by the place and your culture. Although there are a lot of dishes that I like but my favourite dish is Biryani. Rice is something that I can even eat in the breakfast.
Biryani is a different form of rice and includes spices and is usually have an orange shade due to food colour.
I like to eat it because I’m eating it since Childhood. It’s like a tradition in our family that every weekend we make biryani and believe me my mum is the best cook. It’s something that makes you hungry even if you are not.
Ingredients:
I went to many different countries and have tried their food but still, Biryani has no comparison. There are a lot of things which are added to this dish. Main ingredients for making Biryani are the following:
- Rice
- Tomatoes
- Curd
- Green chilies
- Potatoes
- Onions
Now comes the spices which are my most favourite part. Some of the spices are:
- Turmeric
- Salt
- Black Pepper
- Red Chilli powder etc.
Cooking Time:
As making Biryani is a long procedure. It almost took 1-2 hours to cook it.
Flavour:
Now, this dish is not only famous in India. It’s like a dish of the subcontinent. And, everyone follows a different recipe. The main course is the same with some minor details changing according to the availability of spices and ingredients. You can add more spices and stuff if you want it really spicy otherwise average spices also give very good and a tasty flavour.
I like it really spicy. To me biryani is everything. I know it sounds funny but it’s really tasty.
Cooking-Favourite Hobby:
When I was young I hated cooking and always thought that’s it’s a boring work. But one day I decided to cook by myself. Now, whenever I want to eat Biryani I cook it by myself. It’s quite an interesting work. I think boys should also give it a try.
