It’s a human fact that we cannot survive without water for more than 72 hours. It is the basic necessity for human life. Unfortunately it is getting polluted every day. Good morning respected teacher and fellow students today I am here to give a speech on water pollution.
As I have already mentioned water is basic necessity to us. On Earth we 71% of water and fresh water is only 2.75%. Rest water is saline water which we can’t use in regular basis. Human population is increasing rapidly hence water will be required more. But unfortunately this is not what exactly happening.
Along with that we are continuously busy in polluting the minimal fresh water we are left with. All the industrial waste or chemical waste is disposed in the water bodies. Sewage has been linked to fresh water bodies. Now many pesticides and harmful products are used for the cultivation. All the agricultural waste also drained in the water body. Dumping garbage and converting a river into a drain.
By doing all these we are not just harming water bodies but also to the animals living under water. It becomes hard to survive in impure water. The worst thing is they cannot even migrate. They feel choked and die. This is heavily affecting the food chain as well. If water bodies will get diminished then natural cycle or water cycle won’t also work properly. Hence, it will give a bad impact on human lives.
I request everybody present here and listening to my speech that we should take care of water bodies surrounded by us by doing Little steps. Don’t forget if water will get extinct! Then living beings will also get extinct.
Thank you!
