Books are an endless source of information, knowledge, entertainment and training. In the traditional world, books were the only source of knowledge.
In today’s world, modern technology has provided more sources like e-books and many other sources on the internet that can supplement the role of the books. But of course the role of books in our lives is indispensable.
Knowledge and education: In schools and colleges, it is through reading books of various subjects that we gain our knowledge and education. Books can be various types like study course materials, reference books, work books, text books, notebooks, etc. All these books enhance and supplement different aspects of education and learning.

They help us in dealing with specific situations in life. For e.g. finding a good recipe for a small party, selecting a travel destination for a vacation, finding the meanings of different words, researching more information about a particular topic, etc.
Entertainment: Books can also be a great source of entertainment. If one learns to derive entertainment from reading books, they become man’s best friends in all situations. There are various different books in this category: fiction books, poetry books, novels, story books, magazines, crime books, detective books, romantic books, fantasy books, children’s story books, etc. There books to connect with your every entertainment need in all age-groups of your life.
