Which country has the largest youth population in the world?

Category: Blog On December 7, 2017 By Various Contributors

The country with the largest youth population in the world is India. 28% of India’s population is made up of young people.

Young people here are defined as people who are between 10 and 24 years of age. As a result, India is a country that is likely to enjoy an economic boom due to the plethora of young workers. However, this boom will need to be sustainable by means of providing all of those young workers with jobs.

To express these statistics in terms of numbers, the UN estimated in 2014 that India is home to 356 million young people.
